I am SO EXCITED about my upcoming show tomorrow! Here are the details:

When you were growing up, do you remember the best gift you ever received? My FAVORITE present of all time when I was growing up was my Dean acoustic-electric guitar.

I remember feeling a sense of happiness that I had never felt before when I saw and held her for the first time!

EXCITEMENT just rushed through my body! 🩵

I’ve been through SO MUCH with this guitar.

She has helped me get through difficult times in my life, and she helped me record an album! ❤️

I have used her to perform at weddings, funerals, bars, coffeehouses, breweries, Make Music Madison, a large concert venue, a music lounge, an alpaca farm, an art collective, a winery, and a mead hall. I value ALL of these experiences because I have been able to connect with others and share my passion for music during these performances. 💚

Because I have had my guitar for so long, I noticed that there were some things that needed to be repaired on her. Last year, I was told that with the amount of money it would cost to make the repairs on her, it would be a better investment for me to just buy a new one.

Buy a new one? 😮

I LOVE my guitar! 💛 How could I buy a new one?

This year, I looked into other acoustic-electric guitars on and off.

I had NO idea what kind of guitar I wanted to get.

I’ve ONLY had this acoustic-electric guitar…

I eventually determined that I wanted a blue one. Why? Blue is my FAVORITE color! 😊

Although I narrowed my guitar selection down to the color, I still had NO idea what I wanted to get.

However, that all changed last week.

I was looking at guitars and saw that Fender had a Redondo Player acoustic-electric guitar in the color of Belmont blue.

I’ve shared with you all that my grandfather, a veteran and one of the kindest human beings you could ever meet, was a HUGE supporter of my music. Since his name was Belmont, I knew I had to get a guitar that had his name. 🩵 I love the sound of “Belmont Blue” so much that I’ve decided that will be my new guitar’s name. 😊

As for my first guitar, I’m going to hang her up on the wall to remind me of what a HUGE impact she has had on my life. 💜
