Earlier this year, I wrote about how I unexpectedly lost my cousin. (See the post, “The Performance I Didn’t Expect.”)  😥

I recently received a special gift, something that would ensure that her memory lived on: her favorite instrument.

She loved playing her Fender Squier P Bass, and I honor her memory by having her guitar on display in my music room.

I see it every day, and I always think of her. Her guitar reminds me to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment.

You may have noticed that this bass is now in the videos that I record. I wanted to do this to honor her as she was such a great supporter of everything I wanted to do in my life, especially when it came to my dream of creating an album and performing.

As I have written about before, you cannot force song writing to happen. However, since I lost her, I have been working on a song for this amazing woman who was such a positive influence in my life.  I hope to share it with you soon. ❤
