I am still waiting to hear back from venues and am very eager to perform! 🙂

While I’ve been  waiting, I’ve been thinking about what I need in order to perform independently.

I have never done a gig by myself before. So far, I have opened for or performed with other musicians, which means that I am used to using someone else’s equipment.

I didn’t have my own mic, but I recently got some advice from one of my musician friends about what to look for, and now I do 🙂

I got a Shure SM58S microphone and a Fender Champion 40 amp.  The sound quality of both of them is great!
