Last Thursday was my first time performing at PaintBar Madison, and it was a BLAST!

It was so much fun to perform music while people were PAINTING! What a completely “artsy” experience! 😀

To top it off, I got to open for the impressive Echleon String Quartet! They were fantastic! I had actually never seen a string quartet live before, but the experience was so amazing! In a culture where auto tuned, computer generated “music” tends to be the norm, seeing and hearing a string quartet is QUITE the treat! Check out their music, here.

Last week, I wrote about how I  would be taking a little “break” from performing, as I am starting up my own business in order to do what I LOVE for a living. 😀 At this time, I have a wedding performance scheduled for July and a show at Tip Top Tavern scheduled for September. I will use this “break” to work on new songs and book future shows. 🙂
