Valentine’s Day is coming!
I know that some people get excited about giving and/or receiving gifts on Valentine’s Day, others think Valentine’s Day is just a materialistic holiday, and others are really sad on Valentine’s Day because they do not have a significant other.
What do you think about Valentine’s Day?
When I was a kid, I got SO excited about Valentine’s Day! 😀 My classmates and I would exchange Valentines Day cards and candy. We made Valentine’s Day boxes for our classmates to put the cards and candy in, and I really enjoyed making my Valentine’s Day box! 🙂
I remember wearing a pink or red shirt on Valentine’s Day along with my Valentine’s Day earrings 🙂
I remember that when I was in Middle School, a boy that I had a HUGE crush on surprised me with roses and a little teddy bear on Valentine’s Day! 🙂
Then, as I got older, I became against Valentine’s Day. 😉 I actually remember wearing all black on Valentine’s Day to my Japanese class at university in order to “protest” Valentine’s Day. My TA asked me why I was wearing all black, and when I explained (in Japanese of course 😉 ), she laughed so hard. 😀
At that point in my life, I was skeptical that the love that you are “supposed to feel” on Valentine’s Day actually existed.
Since then, I have changed my views about Valentine’s Day. Instead of Valentine’s Day being about romantic love, I view it as a day of celebrating ALL love! ❤
Whether or not you have a significant other, YOU are worth loving, and you should celebrate having people in your life who love you! ❤

I can’t say it enough. I absolutely LOVE his voice! I ALWAYS get the goosebumps when he sings. 🙂
