Happy April! π
I am sure enjoying spring! β€ The past few days, here in Wisconsin, the weather has been rather cold. However, warm weather will return soon, and I enjoy getting back outside and spending time enjoying the beautiful fruits of the latest season. β€
I’ve mentioned that I LOVE watching and listening to the birds in spring. β€
Wisconsin’s state bird is the robin, and you can see A TON of robins right now! π
Because of that, this week’s song appropriately is “Fly Robin Fly.” π
Lyrics:
Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Fly, robin fly
Up, up to the sky

This song was performed by Silver Convention, a disco singing group from Germany.
I remember hearing this song when my mom would listen to the “Saturday at the 70s” radio station when I was growing up, but I didn’t realize how few words this song had! π
I enjoyed the dancing in this video! π How about you?
This song appeared in one of the episodes of the series Little Fires Everywhere, starring Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon. In that episode, everyone seemed to have a blast disco dancing to this song. π
By the way, if you haven’t seen this series, I HIGHLY recommend it! It helps you remember that everyone has a story and secrets, and you shouldn’t make judgements about others.
I hope that you are enjoying springtime wherever you are! β€
Are you in need of a little pick-me-up? Why not consider busting out your disco moves to “Fly Robin Fly”? π
Stay Well! β€
