It is nearing the end of January. Time seems to go by so fast! 😮

Although I had recently said that I was enjoying the “warm” Wisconsin weather, it definitely feels like a normal Wisconsin winter now. As I write this, it is a chilly 12°F outside! 🥶

Because it’s been so cold, I’ve been busy baking and painting miniatures for my Warhammer 40K army. 😁 (I’ve shared some nature photos on Instagram. 😉)

I love doing creative things, whether it be music-related, crafts, painting miniatures, baking, etc.

I find immersing myself in creative outlets helps me relax, learn new things about myself, and heal during difficult times.

Earlier this month, my Great-Aunt passed away. She was an incredible person who loved traveling around the world. I admire the way she lived her life true to herself and emanated kindness. ♥

She LOVED Tom Jones.

When I think of Tom Jones, the first song that always comes to mind is “It’s Not Unusual.”

The reason why “It’s Not Unusual” comes to mind when I think of Tom Jones is because of the 1996 film Mars Attacks!

I think this was the first time I had ever heard of Tom Jones. 😉 The Martians sure seemed to really enjoy the song as well until Tom Jones stopped singing. 😄

As I listen to Tom Jones as I write this post, I remember my aunt and how lovely she was. 💙
