February is coming to an end, and so is the Month of LOVE. 😏

This week, I wanted to share a song that I really loved to listen to when I was a kid, it’s “I Could Fall in Love” by Selena.

I had first learned about Selena when I watched the 1997 film Selena. I was shocked and mortified when at the end of the film, I learned that Selena was murdered by the founder of her fan club. Selena was only 23 years old. 💔

Selena was incredibly talented. Her voice was AMAZING, and from clips I’ve seen of her performances, she had a wonderful stage presence.

After I watched the film, my sister and I each got Selena’s CD, Dreaming of You, and listened to it very often. 😊

Despite the 1997 film having such a heartbreaking ending, my sister and watched the film DOZENS of times growing up! It was my sister’s favorite movie! 💙

Although I liked all the song’s on Dreaming of You, “I Could Fall in Love” was one of my favorites.

I still really like the song because it is incredibly beautiful. When I think back to when I was a kid and really liked this song, I think it was because of all the different crushes I had! 😋
