It’s a dark time in our world right now. Sometimes life is very difficult, and sometimes a lot of things are out of our control. It is important to think about what you can control.

Is there anything that you can do today to take better care of yourself? Is there anything you can do today to make someone else’s life a little easier or a little happier?

Every week, I share a post with the hopes that I will brighten at least one person’s day—even if for a moment.

This week I wanted to share a song from my favorite (non-animated) TV show because the first time I experienced this song, I was deeply moved, and I hope it moves you too. 💙

I have mentioned that I don’t watch a lot of TV, but that changes when I find something that I really LOVE! Someone recommended that I watch the TV show Schitt’s Creek.

The end of last year, I started watching it, and I loved it SO MUCH that I couldn’t stop! 😜

The show ALWAYS moved me and brightened my day, and that is why I believe this show will always be my favorite.💛

My favorite character in the show is David Rose (Dan Levy). When David is simply present in a scene, he just makes me smile—not to mention that his delivery of lines is utterly fantastic!

The version of “The Best” that I most often heard growing up was Tina Tuner’s. This is the version that David Rose dances to as his “olive branch” for Patrick Brewer. 😍

One of my friends actually took out her phone during the vow exchange at her wedding ceremony to play a clip of “The Best” to express to the man she was marrying how much he meant to her! 💛
