Here’s another edition of the Thursday Evening Post. 🦇

Next week is Halloween! 😮

Some years ago, I thought it would be fun to take the nursery rhyme “Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater” and add a melody and guitar music to it. I also thought it would be fun to put on my rotating skull light in the background of the video, include some pumpkins, and my costume witch hat. 🤣(You can read more about that, here.)

In “Teen-a-Witch,” season 7, episode 3 of my favorite TV show Bob’s Burgers, Tina Belcher is upset because someone steals her Halloween costume idea. Tina is furious because she thinks that costume idea would have won her first place at the Halloween costume contest. To seek revenge, she dabbles in witchcraft, thanks to the help of the school librarian. 🤣

This episode is HILARIOUS! There are parts of the episode that make fun of the 1996 film The Craft. 🧹

The episode ends with a silly song called “Witchy Witchy.”

Lyrics:

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Witchy-witchy, pumpkin snatchy
Witchy-witchy, cursed by Jackie
Witchy-witchy, eating candy
Witchy-witchy, Jack-O-Landy

Witchy-witchy, witchy-witchy
Witchy-witchy, witchy-witchy
Witchy-witchy, witch

🤣

The words “pumpkin snatchy” refer to the mysterious person who continues to steal the jack-o-lanterns that Bob Belcher makes. 😆

The words “cursed by Jackie” refer to the crossing guard Jackie who Tina upsets during her sassy witchcraft phase. 😂

Can you think of any Halloween-themed songs that make you laugh?

May you be well! 🧡
