I had intended to record the electric guitar parts for “Temptation” and “Grow Up” on Sunday.
However, because I spent Saturday out in the cold (taking my students on a field trip to downtown Chicago) and because of a mixture of my allergies and whatever bugs were going around, I felt unwell and had to move my session 😦
On a side note, despite the cold, Chicago was a wonderful trip. I got to see the Christkindlmarket, Cloud Gate in Millenium Park, and the Willis Tower.
Since Chicago, I had spent my free time preparing for today’s recording session.
Now all of the instrumental parts for TEMPTATION are finished!
I will return to the studio one last time to rerecord any vocals I don’t like, and then the recording process is complete!!!!
That’s the latest on the progress of my (almost completed!!!!) album.
As for performances, if anyone is in Madison tomorrow night, at 8pm, I will be opening for the awesome Jimmy Murn + The HeyMakers! We are performing at Evolution Arts Collective for their Art and Handmade Gift Sale. Please come for some awesome music and awesome arts and crafts! 🙂
