These past few weeks I have been practicing like crazy because of the performance that I have this weekend. What performance? You may ask. I wasn’t able to advertise this performance on my website because this is a private performance.

I was asked to perform at the wedding ceremony of someone in my family. 🙂

I’ve been practicing songs that I will be playing at the church. When I started practicing for this wedding, I realized that I hadn’t performed at a wedding in over ten years!

Performing at a wedding is a lot different than my usual performances. At a wedding, I play none of my original songs or none of my favorite covers. I have the opportunity to perform a completely different style of music.

I’m used to choosing which songs that I play at a performance, but this time, someone else has chosen them for me 😉

Weddings are very important to people. Some people even say that their wedding day was the best day of their life. Because of that, I’ve been practicing like crazy so that this wedding turns out to be everything that they hope it will be 🙂
