The NPR Tiny Desk Contest is back!

I had participated in the contest in 2015, with my song “Temptation,”

in 2016, with my song, “The Hardest Thing,”

and in 2017, with my song, “Where’s the Peace?”

The past three years, I remember learning about the contest in the month of January. I had wanted to participate in the contest this year; however, January came and went, and I hadn’t heard anything about the contest. I assumed that the contest wasn’t going to happen this year.

However, I was mistaken! Although it was announced later than usual, the contest is on! 🙂

Here are the details for the contest:

• Record a new video of yourself performing an original song.
• You must be at a desk in the video.
• Submit your video here before 11:59 p.m. ET on March 25, 2018.

Although I had wanted to participate in the contest this year, I am currently recovering from being ill. (Wisconsin can get SO COLD in the winter, and where ever you look, people are sick! 😦 ) When I was sick, I barely had a voice. Even though I am feeling closer to normal, my voice is still affected. I try to sing a little bit, and my voice disappears. 😦

If my voice is not better in time to submit a new song to the NPR Tiny Desk Contest, I hope to have a new song to share with you soon. 🙂
