This week I finally got to see Spider-Man: Far From Home and thoroughly enjoyed it! ❤
The movie started with the beautiful Whitney Houston song “I Will Always Love You.”
Lyrics:
If I should stay
I would only be in your way
So I’ll go but I know
I’ll thinkof you every step of the wayAnd I… will always love you, ooh
Will always love you
You
My darling, you…
Mmm-mmBittersweet memories –
That is all I’m taking with me.
So good-bye.
Please don’t cry:
We both know I’m not what you, you needAnd I… will always love you
I… will always love you
You, ooh
I hadn’t heard that song for ages, and it brought back LOADS of memories. 🙂
When I was a child, I LOVED this song! ❤
I remember the first time I heard it. I was at the summer vacation home of family friends and was hanging out indoors with kids my age. (Why were we inside on a beautiful summer day? 😦 Beats me! 😉 ) One of the kids said that we had to watch the 1992 movie The Bodyguard, his new favorite movie.
I had never seen the movie before, but I remember that my friend knew the film by heart and was obsessed with Whitney Houston. 🙂
I loved the song “I Will Always Love You” from this film and remember singing it a lot when I was a kid. 🙂 The Bodyguard introduced me to Whitney Houston, and I remember that as soon as I got one of her cassette tapes, I listened to it constantly. 😀
I don’t really remember much of the film, as I don’t think I have watched it since I was a kid. What I do know is “I Will Always Love You” is such a great song! ❤
