This past Tuesday was International Women’s Day. 💪
In honor of the holiday, I wanted to share my original song “Anthem” with you.
A female empowerment song that makes me laugh is from Bob’s Burgers. Here is “Girl Power Jam” from Season 8, Episode 8, “V for Valentine-detta”:

As an editor and an English teacher, the incorrect plural of “man” bothers me. 😂 Despite that, I still think it’s such a fun, silly song, and I CANNOT get this song out of my head!

International Women's Day makes me think of Helen Reddy's "I Am Woman." A dear friend and mentor of mine had it played at her memorial service and it was wonderful!
