What do you enjoy doing when it is too hot to spend time outdoors?

Lately, I’ve been hiking in the morning before it gets too hot and then I have been enjoying playing music, painting miniatures, and watching anime indoors. 🤓

One anime that I recently finished was Blood Blockade Battlefront and Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond.

I was entertained watching people with special powers—especially my favorites: Zapp Renfro, Chain Sumeragi, and K.K.—fight monsters. 🙂

At the end of the season of Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, I heard a beautiful song that I wanted to share with you this week. The song is “Tortoise Knight” by Ai Ninomiya.

You may be wondering about the title of the song. This song is featured in the anime when the main character risks his life to protect his sister. His sister had given him the nickname “Tortoise Knight” because like a tortoise, he only moves forward in life no matter how difficult things may be. The nickname makes the main character feel embarrassed. 😉

Ai’s voice is so beautiful and the instruments really build up in such a way that it gives me goosebumps.
