All I’ve wanted to do is share my music with the world!!! 🙂 But making an album is turning out to be a lot more expensive than I had imagined. If you’re going to independently produce an album, you need to pay for things like studio time, photography for your CD, the production of physical copies of your CD, copyright registration fees, etc. I kept asking myself how I would be able to afford the production of my first album, and I felt relieved when I came across Kickstarter.

On Kickstarter, if you have a project that you would like to complete, you can post your project on Kickstarter and ask for funding.  Usually, if you donate money toward a project, you will get something in return. For example, if you donate $20 toward my project (creating my first album), you can get a physical copy of my CD before it is released.

I hope to finish recording my album by the end of April. Within the next couple months I will post my project on Kickstarter. I will be extremely grateful if I can receive enough pledges to help cover the costs of recording my first album.
