2016 New Year’s Resolution

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2016 has been treating you well so far. Are you still holding strong to your New Year’s resolution?

They say that in the beginning of the year, it is so easy for people to be empowered to make their New Year’s resolution a reality. However, the pattern is that as the year goes on, the less and less people are able to believe in themselves and make their resolution come true. I definitely have been guilty of this. However, the past few years, I have been trying my darnedest to meet my goals! 😛

Last year, my resolution was to perform more than I did in the previous year, and luckily, I was able to meet this goal.

This year, however, I am not focused on the number of performances I have, but rather what I am performing.

I am extremely grateful that I was able to release my very own album (my life long dream!). Sharing my music with others brings me such great joy! Now, I feel that I can offer more songs than just what you can find on TEMPTATION.

Last year, I was working on multiple new songs, but I didn’t feel that they were ready to be shared. This year, one of my resolutions is to begin sharing my new songs with you. 😀

Secondly, last year, I had the honor of performing at my sister’s wedding, and that wonderful experience opened my eyes to the fact that I can use my musical abilities to bring joy to others on their wedding day (the most important day of someone’s life!). My other resolution is to become involved with performing at weddings.

They say that you are more likely to make your New Year’s resolution a reality if you share it with others, and so I am sharing mine with you! 🙂

Wishing you all a successful 2016, where you are able to make your New Year’s resolution come true! ❤
