Happy Thursday!
I hope all is well with you! ❤
This week I wanted to share an AMAZING medley that I came across. It COMPLETELY brightened my day, and I hope it brightens yours too! ❤ 🙂 (If you haven’t seen the other posts I have made to help boost your spirits during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, please check out “Don’t Worry Be Happy,” “Handwashing Songs,” “Everything’s Not Awesome.” “Quarantine Song,” “Reflection,” “Captain Planet Theme Song,” “Fix You,” and “5,000 Candles in the Wind”)
Are you ready for the medley? Here it is:
Musician Liz Lister created an orchestra arrangement of 13 of Rammstein‘s most popular songs, and this arrangement is absolutely incredible! ❤ The musicians featured in this video are Matthew Chadbond, Will Chadwick, Izzy Baker, Liz Lister, Helen Milroy, Anthony Jones, Hattie Butterworth, Abi Davies, and Reyan Murtadha. I truly appreciate that each musician performed their parts independently in order to practice social distancing. ❤
I found this arrangement to be so moving! ❤ I came across it earlier this week, and it was actually perfect timing…
In my post “Are You Ready for the North America Stadium Tour 2020?”, I had written about how I was SO EXCITED to see Rammstein perform at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois on September 03 of this fall. I felt so grateful to have the chance to see them this year since I am still excited about the fact that I got to see them perform at Stadion Śląski in Chorzów, Poland last summer! ❤ (You can read about Rammstein’s awesome show in Poland, here.)
However, since I purchased those tickets in January, the world has been negatively impacted by COVID-19. Many events have been cancelled or postponed because of the pandemic. I wasn’t sure if the concert would be cancelled because it is in September, but when I went on Rammstein’s website last Friday, I found the following post:
Due to local event restrictions related to COVID-19, which now affect almost all planned dates, the band’s 2020 stadium tour can unfortunately not take place.
We are currently checking whether it is possible to reschedule the dates and will communicate any updates as soon as possible!
All tickets will remain valid until then.
Thank you again for your understanding and patience.
Although I am sad that I will not be able to see Rammstein perform in September, I am grateful that the band cares about their own safety and the safety of their fans.
Have you had any events that you were looking forward to this year cancelled?
There are always future opportunities to participate in special events, but we only have NOW to protect ourselves and others from the Coronavirus.
Please take care of yourselves! ❤
