In earlier posts, I’ve written about the importance of self-care. Because of everything that has been going on, I have been asking myself each day, “What is one thing I can do for myself today?”
I am proud to announce that I recently finished a fun (and very small) project. 😉 In Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, one of my favorite parts of the film was Balthazar, the sparkly vampire. 😀 ❤ As you may remember, my FAVORITE holiday is Halloween, and when I first saw Balthazar and all his beautiful blue “sparkliness,” I knew that I had to buy that Lego!
After I finished watching the movie, I saw that he was only available in a set. 😦 I didn’t want the set. I only wanted him! 😀
However, earlier this year, the set went on sale. I debated whether or not to get it until I saw that people were selling Balthazar by himself for a ridiculous amount of money. 😮
I ended up buying the set. Here is an unboxing video of the Shimmer and Shine Sparkle Spa set in case you are curious:
A silly part of Lego Movie 2: The Second Part was when Balthazar was a DJ, and that brings me to the song for this week.

When I first saw the movie, I couldn’t get this song out of my head, and now, it’s stuck in my head AGAIN as I write this post! So, the song definitely achieved its goal! 😀
I really like how the song is upbeat and fun, and I LOVE how you can just feel the happiness bouncing around in the song. ❤
