Goodbye 2013. Hello 2014!

New Year’s is a time to reflect on all the things you did or didn’t do in a year’s time. Sometimes at New Year’s, I feel frustrated, wishing I had done more, but 2013 was full of so many awesome experiences, and I am so grateful for them!

In February, I went to Disney World. (You’re never too old! 😉 )

In March, I visited Japan. (I was only able to stay for 2 full days, but what an incredible place!)

In April, I visited South Korea. (Although I was there for business, I still got to see many amazing things and try so much amazing food!)

In May, I met the amazing Maison Gustke of Maison Meredith Photography and had my album photo shoot.

In June, I got to open for the super-talented Jimmy Murn of Jimmy Murn + the HeyMakers, at my first show!

In October, I got to travel to Ireland. (What a breathtaking place!)

In November, I made my first Kickstarter, and thanks to all of my AMAZING supporters  I met my goal!!!!

I also got to do another acoustic show with Jimmy Murn at the Froth House.

In December, I finished recording all of the songs for my album!!!!!!! I can’t believe they are finally done! I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to write instrumental parts for all of my songs, but I somehow managed to do it. It only took a year and a half 😉

I also got to open again for Jimmy Murn + the HeyMakers at Evolution Arts Collective.

2013 was full of so much excitement, and I look forward to seeing what 2014 holds!

Happy New Year!
