I Am Enough

You are not alone.

Although the suffering caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic unfortunately continues, we have been able to connect with one another on a global level in consequence to this suffering.

Each week, I’ve been posting songs that I hope will help you feel a little happier.

(You can access those posts here:  “Don’t Worry Be Happy,” “Handwashing Songs,”“Everything’s Not Awesome,” “Quarantine Song,” “Reflection,” “Captain Planet Theme Song,” “Fix You,”  “5,000 Candles in the Wind,” “Orchestra Medley,”What the Word Needs Now is Love,”“Ordinary Man,” “I’ll Take You There,”“Catchy Song,” “I Can See Clearly Now,”“Sing,” “Think,” “ Hold Your Head Up,”“Put On Your Mask,”  “Wash Your Hands,” “Get On Your Feet,” “Colors of the Wind,”“Let It Go,”“Hooked on a Feeling,” and “All You Need Is Love.”)

I have to be honest that I feel so disheartened by the news that the pandemic is getting worse in my home state of Wisconsin and that people around the world continue to struggle due to this pandemic.

It is okay to be sad.

It is okay to be afraid.

It is okay to feel the way you feel right now.

I cannot stress enough how important it is for everyone to take care of themselves during this incredibly difficult time. ❤

One of my social media connections had posted that her husband is in the ICU with COVID-19. 😦 I cannot imagine how scary and unpleasant the experience is for him nor how painful the experience must be for her.

When you feel pressured to not wear a mask or to visit with people in a way that does not allow you to maintain enough distance, please think twice before you do something that could negatively affect your well-being and the well-being of others.

If people get upset with you for the things you are doing to keep yourself and others safe during this pandemic, then let them get upset.

Your well-being and your life matters.

I recently participated in a virtual summit hosted by Sounds True about strategies for maintaining your well-being during this pandemic.

One of the presenters was Justin Michael Williams. During his presentation, he shared  an uplifting song that I had not heard before:

The message in “I Am Enough”  is so incredibly beautiful. ❤ This song is extremely catchy, and I have a hard time getting it out of my head because it’s such an uplifting song! ❤

How does this song make you feel?

When people are suffering all around the world, it certainly changes our perspectives of things.

What can you change in your life to live more true to yourself?

What can you add/remove from your daily schedule to better take care of yourself?

Amidst all of this suffering, be the best version of yourself that you can be! ❤ Love who you are, and do what you need to do to be safe! ❤

Thoughts? Please post them :-)
