Virtual Christmas Caroling!

Happy Thursday! 🙂

I truly hope that you are well today! ❤

Since I didn’t perform as much as I had hoped to this year due to the pandemic, I wanted to do something special at the end of this year! 🙂

I have recorded myself performing a small handful of old-timey Christmas carols, and I will be sharing them with you this Thursday, next Thursday, and the following Thursday! ❤

Each week I’ve been posting a song/video that I hope brightens your day a bit during this very challenging Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

I am really EXCITED to share this week’s old-timey Christmas carol because it is one of my FAVORITE Christmas carols! 😀

Here is my cover of “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen.”

“God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen” ca. 1760 English Traditional Carol

Lyrics:

God rest ye merry, gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ, our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan’s power
When we were gone astray.
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy, O tidings of comfort and joy.
In Bethlehem, in Jewry
This blessed babe was born
And laid within a manger
Upon this blessed morn
That which his mother Mary
Did nothing take in scorn.
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy, O tidings of comfort and joy.
From God our Heavenly Father A blessed Angel came,
And unto certain Shepherds Brought tidings of the same,
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by name.
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy, O tidings of comfort and joy.

I had so much fun making this video for you! ❤
I hope my cover brightened your day a tad! 🙂

Wishing you well! ❤
