The weather in Wisconsin earlier this week was strange—with the cooler temperatures reminding me of fall rather than summer, which starts next week.

Do you know what else is strange? It’s strange when a burger chef competes against a health inspector in a decathlon at a nude beach to save his restaurant. 🤣

That describes the episode of Bob’s Burgers that I recently rewatched. In “Nude Beach” (Season 3, Episode 11), Hugo Habercore, a health inspector who is always very cruel to Bob Belcher because he hates that Bob ended up with his ex-fiancé, decides to take a leave of absence from work and hang out with all the locals enjoying the new nude beach. Although Bob is initially excited that Hugo will no longer be the health inspector assigned to his restaurant, Bob’s feelings dramatically change when he realizes the new health inspector assigned to his restaurant is far worse than Hugo—something Bob never thought could be possible.

After the new health inspector shuts Bob’s restaurant down after Bob refuses to comply with the health inspector’s ridiculous demands, Bob knows there is only one thing left to do—beg Hugo to come back to work.

Bob is uneasy about going to the nude beach and begging Hugo to come back. Bob is shocked when Hugo tells him that he will return to work if Bob beats him in the nudecathlon. 🤣

Bob knows he has no choice and participates—to his children’s dismay. 😂
