Winter in Wisconsin can be SO LONG, so I like to share my cover of “Welcome Sweet Springtime” once spring arrives in celebration of the new season! ❤

I have been outside AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather. ❤

I LOVE watching all of the beautiful birds that are also celebrating the new season. 🙂

Birds are such beautiful and carefree creatures. It is so freeing to watch them fly. ❤

This song is INCREDIBLY inspiring! What have you really wanted to do but have not because something or someone seems to be holding you back?

When will you have the courage to follow through with your goal?

Aside from this song being inspiring, it is also really special to me.

My grandfather was my number one fan. ❤ When my grandfather’s health was severely fading, I did an acoustic show for him in his living room. One of the songs that I performed for him was “Breakaway.”

I remember the following lines from the song being really hard for me to perform for him:

I’ll spread my wings
And I’ll learn how to fly
Though it’s not easy to tell you goodbye.

I didn’t want to have to say goodbye to such an AMAZING human being, but I knew that I had to and that I was going to have to live my life without him.

I miss him every day, but I still feel his love, especially each time I play my guitar. ❤
