Can you believe January is almost over? 😮
Earlier this month, in my post “2018 New Year’s Resolution,” I shared with you that my goal for 2018 was to make music a more regular part of my life again. I have been trying to make time to play my guitar and sing. The other day, I picked up my guitar, and started playing some of the songs from my album, TEMPTATION, and it was amazing! ❤
I couldn’t think of the last time I picked up my guitar to play without a purpose-to simply just play. It was so relaxing! ❤
Lately, I had had a song stuck in my head, “My Lord What a Morning.” I cannot remember when I even learned the song, but the past couple weeks, I couldn’t stop singing it.
I love how beautiful the song is, and so I decided to cover it and share it with you this week.
Here is my cover of “My Lord What a Morning.”
Lyrics:
My Lord, what a morning!
My Lord, what a morning!
My Lord, what a morning!
When the stars begin to fall.
You will hear the trumpet sound, To wake the nations underground,
Looking to my God’s right hand,
When the stars begin to fall.
My Lord, what a morning!
My Lord, what a morning!
My Lord, what a morning!
When the stars begin to fall.
You will hear the sinner cry,
To wake the nations underground,
Looking to my God’s right hand,
When the stars begin to fall.
My Lord, what a morning!
My Lord, what a morning!
My Lord, what a morning!
When the stars begin to fall.
It’s been feeling great following through with my resolution, and I am so happy I was able to share this song with you this week! 🙂
