I recently watched the Disney movie Hercules for the first time since I was a kid.
I LOVED watching Disney movies when I was growing up and remember having SO MANY Disney movies on VHS. ๐
However, Hercules was not one of them. I remember being at a friend’s house, and her little sister was watching the movie because her mom had rented it from Blockbuster. (Blockbuster? Those were the days. ๐)
As I watched the movie recently, I realized that I didn’t remember much of the film, but I did remember having a Pegasus McDonald’s Happy Meal toy from the movie that was pretty AWESOME! ๐
One thing that did seem familiar in the movie was “Go the Distance.”
The song was so BEAUTIFUL, and I started thinking, Oh yeah! This is the song Josh Groban sings.
Josh Groban’s voice gives me goosebumps because I think it’s so beautiful, so as “Go the Distance” continued, I got goosebumps imagining the song with Josh Groban’s voice. ๐คฃ
You know what the best part is?
Josh Groban didn’t sing this song. ๐
It was Michael Bolton.
This movie was from 1997โwell before Josh Groban became famous. ๐
The song is still beautiful even if Josh Groban doesn’t sing it.
My favorite part of the song is the line “fearless, proud, and strong.”
There are SO MANY people who try to bring others down because they are not happy with their own lives. YOU deserve to live your best life, no matter what others think, and you need to be fearless, proud, and strong in order to take the path less taken.
I did want to mention that the part of the song that says, “The crowds will cheer when they see my face,” is something that people should be careful of.
Wanting approval from others is dangerous.
Your validation should come from within.
If your validation comes from within, you will be unstoppable. ๐

What are you thoughts about this song?
Wishing you well! ๐
