Halloween is almost here! π
It’s been a lot of fun watching Halloween-themed movies and shows as it gets closer and closer to my FAVORITE holiday! π¦
I’ve been enjoying watching a mixture of light-hearted and horror movies.
It’s so much fun to listen to the music that is chosen for a Halloween movie, and sometimes I find it very curious why a specific song was chosen.
For example, in the horror movie Halloween Kills, I heard the ADORABLE song “Stop, Look, & Listen, It’s Halloween” by Pete Antell.
Lyrics:
The goblins’ll getcha if you don’t watch out
They’ll take you and shake you until you shout
Stop, look, and listen, it’s Halloween
There’s witches and broomsticks and big black hats
Stirring up their potions in big black vats
Stop, look, and listen, it’s Halloween
Cornstalks standing in the fields at night
The old gray house without a light
The cold white moon shining down so bright
With you and me standing there and shaking with fright
Sneaking past the graveyard with trembling knees
Faces peeking out at us between the trees
Please stop, look, and listen, it’s Halloween
Those goblins’ll getcha if you don’t watch out
They’ll take you and shake you until you shout
Stop, look, and listen, it’s Halloween
There’s witches with broomsticks and big black hats
Stirring up their potions in big black vats
Come on, stop, look, and listΠ΅n, it’s Halloween
Cornstalks standing in the fields at night
The old gray house without a light
The cold white moon shining down so bright
With you and me standing there and shaking with fright
Sneaking past the graveyard with trembling knees
Faces peeking out between the trees
Please stop, look, and listen, it’s Halloween

This is SUCH A CUTE song for a horror movie. Why did they choose it? π€£
Can you think of any times where you watched a movie and the music they selected didn’t seem to match the tone of the film?
I hope you enjoyed this week’s Halloween-themed song!
Wishing you a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! π§π»
