Here’s another edition of the Thursday Evening Post. 😃

I recently watched the 2011 film Super 8 for the first time, and it was FANTASTIC! 🎥

Have you ever seen this action, sci-fi, thriller?

The film had FANTASTIC acting and writing.

The effects were excellent, and the storyline was extremely creative.

The film featured an AMAZING soundtrack! 🎵

During a suspenseful scene in the film, a character needed help, but the only person who could help them was distracted listening to the song “Heart of Glass” by Blondie on their Walkman. 🤣

I have heard this song on the radio so many times, but I NEVER really knew what any of the words were! 😆

It was fun to feature this song in this week’s blog post to see what the song was actually saying. 😊

Super 8 was an extremely MOVING film that also had several HILARIOUS moments! 😀

One of the most moving parts of the film was when one of the main characters delivered this line:

I know bad things happen. Bad things happen. But you can still live. You can still live.

Everyone goes through ups and downs; that’s a part of life.

How you deal with those ups and downs is something that you do have control over.

Just because something bad has happened, it doesn’t mean that you can’t find happiness. It doesn’t mean that you can’t start over.

Every moment is an opportunity to start again.
