I took the train to Futtsu, Chiba.

After I left the train station, I had to choose between taking a taxi to Tokyo Wan Kannon or traveling by foot. I chose to walk 🙂

I eventually came upon some signs telling me that I was getting closer to Tokyo Wan Kannon.

I continued on with my hike toward Tokyo Wan Kannon and began walking up some steep, winding roads.

Eventually, I could see Tokyo Wan Kannon from a distance. Look at how big it is!

Then, I finally got to the site of this beautiful, huge statue.

Not only was Tokyo Wan Kannon really incredible from the outside, but it was also amazing from the inside! On each floor there were different statues.

Near the statues were stamps of the statues that I got to put in my Tokyo Wan Kannon passbook.

Also, on each floor there were windows, and I got to look out at the beautiful countryside.

On each floor, there was also a map that showed you where in the statue you were standing.

The higher I went up in Tokyo Wan Kannon, the more of the beautiful Tokyo Bay I was able to see.

My trip to Tokyo Wan Kannon was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing such a large statue in person was absolutely incredible, and going up inside the statue and seeing the countryside and the beautiful Tokyo Bay was such an amazing experience! 🙂
