As I wrote about in last week’s post, “Trying to Kick This Cold,” I had been wanting to submit a new song to the NPR Tiny Desk Contest, but I had been too ill to even finish my new song. 😦

Good news! On Sunday night, I FINALLY finished the new song that I am going to submit. Bad news…I am still ill. 😦

Every day my voice gets a little stronger, so I am hoping in the next few days that my voice will be back to normal. 🙂

No matter how I feel, I am going to record the song this weekend because the contest deadline is this SUNDAY! 😮

I’m going to work with writer and director, C.L. Manion, for this year’s submission, and I’m looking forward to it! 🙂
