It’s getting CLOSER and CLOSER to Halloween! 🎃

I’ve been THOROUGHLY enjoying all the Halloween decorations people have been putting up in their yards.

I saw some really cool black cat decorations that made me smile. 🐈‍⬛

As an ESL teacher, I’ve taught people from all over the world, from all different cultures.

When some of my students learned that I had two black cats, they were disappointed. 🤣

They told me that it wasn’t a good idea because black cats bring bad luck.

I told them that my black cats were the COOLEST cats anyone could ever meet. 😁

It’s so interesting the different superstitions people have.

That’s why I thought “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder was an appropriate song for this week’s post.

Stevie Wonder’s song has a great beat, and his voice is AMAZING!

This song makes me think of when I was a kid because the keyboard I had in my room growing up had a jukebox that played an instrumental version of this song! 😂

Do you remember having any superstitions when you were a child?

I remember being afraid to open an umbrella indoors, walk under a ladder, and break a mirror by mistake. 🤣
