Here’s another edition of the Thursday Evening Post. 😃
Last weekend marked the end of spring!
Happy summer! 😎
All the flowers around are so GORGEOUS! 🩷
It has been QUITE HOT so far! 🥵
My cherry tomato plant has needed A LOT more water lately! 💦
Do you have a garden?
I ONLY have this single plant right now. (I received it as a gift! 🩷I LOVE cherry tomatoes! 🤤)
I used to have a HUGE garden! 💚
I grew corn, tomatoes, carrots, green beans, kale, lettuce, and I think some other things. 😆
I LOVED the experience of taking care of my garden.💛
I enjoyed watering it and watching my vegetables grow! 💜
I moved. Life got busy, and I didn’t really do much gardening after that.
My experience with my tomato plant has helped me remember how much I used to love gardening.
It’s so enjoyable to take care of my tomato plant every day and see how BIG it has gotten! 😮
While I have taken care of plants in my garden, I have never taken care of a plant indoors.
Do you have any plants in your home?
I’ve really wanted to get a bonsai, but I’m worried it’ll die right away. 🤣

If you have plants in your home, do you do anything special when you take care of them?
Have you ever played music for your plants?
I came across this 2019 NPR article “Music For Plants Is Real (Even If The Science Isn’t)” that talks about some musical artists who created songs for plants.
Here is Mort Garson’s 1976 self-released album Mother Earth’s Plantasia.
What do you think of the music?
Some of the album makes me think of an old science fiction film that might include this music during a scene displaying aliens on a spaceship. 👽
Another part of the album makes me think of something you might hear in a coffee shop or in the waiting room at the dentist’s office, and then maybe an alien appears! 😁
Would you play this music for your plants or to help yourself relax?
May you find some time today to enjoy nature—whether it is taking care of your plant, tending to your garden, or just being outdoors! 💚
May you be well! 💙
If you’d like to support my mission to share my passion for music with the world and spread joy, love, and positivity, you can do so here. Thank you! ❤️
