Valentine’s Day is this weekend! 🍫

Valentine’s Day is such a great day to appreciate all the people in my life that I love! 💙

It also is a great opportunity to have some chocolate! 😁

Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, I thought it would be great to post a song about love. Here is “Love Is Like Oxygen” by Sweet:

I remember hearing this song on an oldies station when I was growing up, but I never really listened to the lyrics.

I didn’t realize that this song was about heartbreak.

It think that the structure of the song is quite interesting.

The chorus feels upbeat, but the line “not enough and you’re gonna die” expresses a somber message.

The verses slow down and express the sadness being experienced by the main character of the story being told.

I didn’t know that this song was done by the band Sweet. I hadn’t heard that band name before.
