Here’s another edition of the Thursday Evening Post. 😊

Earlier this week was St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

On St. Patrick’s Day, I express my GRATITUDE for my Irish ancestors and for the opportunity I had to visit Ireland! 💚

I remember how much FUN I had celebrating St. Patrick’s Day as a kid!

I would go to school wearing AS MUCH green as I could! 😃

I especially remember wearing a pair of ADORABLE shamrock earrings! They were glittery and so cute! They were shamrock earring studs with a tiny green chain that connected them to another shamrock that beautifully dangled. I LOVED them! 🍀

I also felt “fancy” when I wore them because they were so sparkly! 🤣

Did any of you do anything fun for St. Patrick’s Day when you were a kid?

All this green talk makes me think of the Sesame Street song “It’s Not Easy Being Green” by Kermit the Frog. 🐸

The last time that I heard this song, I was a very young child. I didn’t remember any of the words to this song! 😂

The message behind this song is SO IMPORTANT!

No matter how you feel that you differ from other people, there is ONLY ONE YOU!

Be who you are and LOVE being that person! 💙
