Hereโs another edition of theย Thursday Evening Post.ย
For this week’s post, I thought I’d take a trip to the past. Well, not too far into the past ๐ All this snow and cold is making me long for the summer, so, I want to share some photos from my trip to the Field Museum, in Chicago, Illinois, last summer.
I hope you enjoy the pictures! ๐
At the time I visited the museum, the “Opening the Vaults: Wonders of the 1893 World’s Fair” exhibit was on display.
There were some extremely intriguing things in this exhibit!
I was moved by this Brontothere skull and mandible!
This GIANT octopus on the CEILING was really beautiful! ๐
The rest of the museum was also quite interesting!
I spent the WHOLE day walking around and looking at fascinating things!
One of my favorite parts of my visit to the Field Museum was this GIANT SLOTH!
It just fills me with immense AWE that sloths were once SO LARGE! ๐ฎ
If you’ve been to the Field Museum, what’s one of your FAVORITE things that you saw there?
If you haven’t been there, you should definitely check it out! Make sure you give yourself a whole day though! There is SO MUCH to see! ๐
May you be well! ๐
If youโd like to support my mission to share my passion for music with the world and spread joy, love, and positivity, you can do soย here.ย Thank you so much!ย
