Although this song is from 1996, I had actually only heard this song for the first time recently! 😮 Earlier this year, I wrote about how the film Captain Marvel included a FANTASTIC selection of songs.
One of those songs was “Only Happy When It Rains.” When I heard that song in the film, I thought What is that awesome sassy song? I was so surprised to learn that it has been around for some time!
I had so much fun learning this song for my show. It’s got such great lyrics and has a lot of attitude! 😉
I was extremely surprised to learn that Garbage started out in my city, Madison, Wisconsin! 😮 How cool is that!?
