The temperature has dropped dramatically since last week, but since I love autumn, I don’t mind the autumn feel. 😊

It has just made bike rides a lot chillier! 😅

Do you ever think about how impactful it is who you surround yourself with and what you’re listening to?

Whenever you have a song stuck in your head, is it a song you find uplifting or one that you find annoying? 🤣

I’ve had Elton John’s 1983 song “I’m Still Standing” stuck in my head lately, and I LOVE it! 😍

Although this song might be about an ex-partner, there is so much of this song that can be applicable to ANY situation.

The following lines talk about the importance of moving on from someone (or even something) that wasn’t adding value to your life:

No matter how destructive someone (or something) has been to your life, you can start where you are in this moment and create your BEST life. 💙

The following lines talk about the dangers of toxic people:

You’re startin’ down the road, leavin’ me again
The threats you made were meant to cut me down

People who claim to care about you may threaten to break off whatever type of relationship you have with them if you won’t comply to their demands. They refuse to accept you for who you are and believe that you don’t love yourself enough to kick them to the curb.

No matter what someone has said to make you feel small, deep down YOU know how VALUABLE you are and that you don’t deserve to be treated that way.

I love the line I got a taste of love in a simple way.

You may interpret this line differently than I do, but it made me think about how when you love YOURSELF you can keep moving forward no matter what happens. 💜

I think about how Dr. Rick Hanson talks about no matter what is going on in our lives, the trees still stand tall and strong.

No matter what someone or something has done to make your life difficult, you can still stand strong and know that you will get through this. ❤️

If you love yourself and surround yourself with people (or animals🐕) who genuinely care about you, you will be able to overcome anything!
